MR8 Fundraiser at Loretta's Last Call

Another fun event for the Martin Richard Foundation. This time I upped the ante a little bit and offered a more valuable (and popular....let's be honest) painting of a Boston cityscape. Thankfully I had some time on my hands over spring break, and was able to get some good ones completed. Alan Seymour was the lucky winner of this raffle prize, and while the piece wasn't quiiiiite as popular as the Boston Red Sox game night package, it was pretty full of raffle tickets when we did the drawing.

MR8 Fundraiser at Aeronaut Brewing Company

Hey all! I've been raffling off some paintings to support the Martin Richard Foundation's Boston Marathon charity team. This was an event hosted by my lovely wife Rachel Romeo at Aeronaut Brewing Company in Somerville. Sacco's Flatbread Company donated pizza and salad, local restaurants donated gift cards, and attendees enjoyed libations, good food, and truly harrowing decisions about which raffle prizes they wanted to go for.... it actually was pretty tough to decide.

We didn't have a great way to display it without being able to hang it, so I just brought my tabletop easel. The painting felt very at home there!
